Tecno introduces Camon 16, 16 Pro and 16 Premier



The smartphone brand Tecno has just introduced its latest series of smartphones, called Camon 16. It includes three phones - Tecno Camon 16 Premier which is already available for sale in Kenya, alongside the Tecno Camon 16 Pro and the Tecno Camon 16, which are expected later this month.

All of the phones have four cameras on the back and two on the front, with the Premier sporting a Helio G90T chipset and a 4,500 mAh battery.

 The company has just announced the new devices in an online launch. 

Information is it that the Phone has  three devices currently in the Camon 16 series. These include:

Camon 16 Premier

Camon 16 Pro

Camon 16

The Camon 16 Premier, which is the highest end of the three devices is already listed on Jumia ranging from  28,499  to 25,000 kenya shillings

other accessories assosciated includes  Wireless Earbuds – the HiPods H2. Though the buds haven’t been priced officially locally,estimated at  2,800 kenya shillings. 

sister company Infinix will launch the Zero 8 0n 7th september 2020. 

The devices appear to bear the exact same specifications – down to the same cameras, same refresh rate, same fast charging, same fingerprint placement. The only differences are in the design of the back cameras with Infinix going for a diamond design, and TECNO going for a boxy look.

The Camon 16 Pro and the Camon 16 will launch later on in the month, and will bear cheaper prices. But they will also have different specifications. Presumably lower refresh rate displays, and different processors.
